Shawn and I went to Pixel 8 for dinner. I usually opt for the ramen noodles when I'm there but since I had noodles for lunch, I decided to order the Japanese curry pork cutlet on rice instead. But they took my order down wrong, because they brought me something totally different. It had pork cutlet on rice, but there was definitely no curry. It looked like the cutlet was cooked in egg or something, and drizzled with some random sauce (possibly teriyaki). Regardless, I decided to eat it instead of sending it back, and it was surprisingly really, really good. As in, I ate the whole bowl without complaining, and actually may have exclaimed, "Mmmm, so good..." a few times. So, new goal: Must try more of the rice items.
