There was a pretty crazy blizzard today. We've gotten over 30cm of snow, schools and government services are shut down, highways are closed, and people have been stuck in traffic for hours. But at least the sunset was pretty.

Sunrise looked so beautiful this morning, like a gorgeous painting. You knew it was going to be a perfect, sunny day with clear blue skies... BUT LOOKS ARE DECEIVING. Because with this beautiful, perfect-looking weather comes pollen. And with pollen, MY ALLERGIES HAVE HIT FULL FORCE. I'm talking the works: sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion, burning/watery eyes, itchy skin. And I'm not allowed to go back to work right now because we're in the middle of a goddamn pandemic and I need to be "symptom-free" before they'll give me the okay. SPRING IS EVIL AS FUCK.

It's currently 5:45 AM. (Yes, I have to wake up at an ungodly hour to go to work training for the next ten weeks.) There's a snow storm going across Ontario over three days, and this is what it looks like outside right now. Winter is back with a vengeance. (Thankfully, so is BTS. They're the only thing that's keeping me going right now.)

Got woken up today by what sounded like pellets being thrown at my house. Went to my window to see what was going on outside and saw this instead. So yeah, it's another hibernation day for me. Welcome to December.

Good thing I gave myself a long weekend so I could hibernate today. 10 cm of snow over the course of the afternoon and early evening, which actually isn't a lot in the grand scheme of things, but many people haven't prepared themselves or their cars for snow yet, so there were probably quite a lot of accidents today. Still, I feel like it's quite odd for this time of year. I can't remember the last time we had a significant amount of snowfall this early in November.

Another 15 cm of snow today. I've accepted that winter is never fucking ending here. I just wish snow days applied to work.

Another 20 cm of snow today. (They already plowed my neighbourhood once this evening, and another 10 cm accumulated.) I'm really, really ready for spring now.

20 cm of snow has accumulated over the past six hours. Thank god I was off work today, 'cause hibernation mode is definitely on.

Yes, it is 33°C outside right now, and this is in the evening. (It feels about 38°C with humidex.) I was having such a good time hibernating today in my fantastically air conditioned house, but alas, I ran out of cigarettes.

Day 2 of the ice storm. Everything is frozen. Thus, I have not left the house today.

Of course, as it's mid-April in Canada, we got an ice storm today that caused over 500 car accidents. It took me an hour to get home from work (a commute that is usually around 20 minutes). Mother Nature is laughing in our faces, like, "You thought it was Spring? Think again, motherfuckers."
