It's been a while since I've bought BT21 stuff from Line Friends (which has been re-branded to Line Friends Square, and I'm not sure what the main difference is, but I do know that they have a lot more shipping options so that you don't have to pay extra duties upon delivery— a big win for us international customers), but over the course of the past few months, I somehow ended up ordering the most random assortment of stuff:

To the point where I actually have no more room in any of my kitchen cupboards and need to re-organize my entire storage system... but that's a future me problem...

I spent so much money at Line Friends last year that I ended up getting a $20 off coupon for a purchase over $100. Unboxing: LINE FRIENDS — BT21 5 Years Anniversary Collection Haul

When Line Friends released their BT21 5 Years Anniversary collection, my first thought was, "Wow, it's already been 5 years?" and my second thought was, "Well, I obviously need to celebrate." So I bought two items: the Mini Figurine Dollhouse Set, because I've collected all the other BT21 figure sets; and the Black Hooded Sweatshirt, which is the only clothing item in this collection.

I can't believe I've been collecting BT21 for 5 years already. I still remember the Making Of videos of BTS creating these characters and the final reveals. I remember how hard it was to even buy the merch if you weren't in Korea. (When they first launched, Line Friends only had a BT21 shopping page through Amazon for international customers and the products were very limited — they'd release maybe 5 to 10 items at a time — so everything sold out within minutes of them releasing it.) I had to buy all of my BT21 goods through an independent seller in Seoul (shout-out to Jaewon), who would line up at the store for me just to get everything I wanted. 

Of course, like BTS, BT21 also blew up and now it's available everywhere, but still, going through my 5-year journey of collecting BT21 makes me wonder just how much money Line Friends has made off of me...

Sooo, I went on yet another late-night BT21 shopping spree at Line Friends. It always starts with a casual perusal and ends up with me spending WAY TOO MUCH MONEY on stuff I absolutely don't need but are too cute to resist. Basically, I HAVE NO SELF-CONTROL.

I swear, collecting BT21 figures will be my downfall. I ended up buying two sets of those monitor figures — one to replace the set on my car's dashboard (which features the original BT21 monitor figure line-up from a few years ago) and one for display at home. And I got that Cooky car figure for the sole purpose of having somewhere to hang my face masks in my car because I keep losing them. And lest you think I was going to use those rolling stamps and car air fresheners for their actual purpose, I am not. (Like, would I really have needed seven rolling stamps? Does anyone actually need rolling stamps?) They will simply be used as display figures and will join the rest of my BT21 figure collection. Though I suppose if I ever needed another car air freshener, I could just grab one from my display...

As I said, NO SELF-CONTROL.

Unboxing: LINE FRIENDS Creator — BT21 Minini Theme Collection

Last month, Line Friends Creator introduced this new BT21 theme called "BT21 Minini" featuring their baby BT21 characters but in the style of Hello Kitty (basically, no eyebrows and no mouth) and IT IS FREAKING ADORABLE. For those who don't know, Line Friends Creator is the division of Line Friends that allows you to custom design a myriad of products with Line Friends characters. So I designed three new clear soft cases for my iPhone Pro Max 13, two crewneck sweatshirts, and a pair of slippers BECAUSE I COULD NOT RESIST.
