I can't believe the wait will finally be over in 16 days. I cannot wait for what will undoubtedly be the biggest, most epic, most jaw-dropping comeback in music history.

Interrupting my stream of birthday dinner posts with this trailer because it just unexpectedly dropped and I AM ALWAYS SURE WHEN IT COMES TO JIKOOK. This is the most precious friendship I have ever witnessed in the last 9 years and I ALWAYS NEED MORE. They give me faith in LOVE AND HUMANITY.  (But also wanderlust and hunger pangs at 3:00AM.) Anyway, guess I'll need to re-subscribe to Disney+ again... 

J-Hope — Hope on the Stage Tour Official Trailer

Hmm, some things to note in this video:

• J-Hope is stuck in a room and peering into the vent
• J-Hope's military enlistment date on a poster on the wall
• The clock on the wall set to his birthday (2:18)
• A pill and glass of water set on the side table (reference to BTS' Wings era)
• The toy airplane on the floor (reference to J-Hope's Hope World album)
• Zooming out of the vent and realizing the room J-Hope is trapped in is in a box that another J-Hope is holding
• The Snickers bar, the "Arson" lighter, and the "More" key in the drawer (references to BTS' Love Yourself era and J-Hope's Jack in the Box album)

That's a lot of Easter eggs in a 43-second trailer, but all we gotta know is that J-Hope is ready to escape his past and start his new era with a bang.

RM: Right People, Wrong Place Special Trailer

Seems like this might be RM's most introspective work yet. And to be an official selection for an international film festival is a big deal — this wasn't made just for the sake of documentation or profit, but as a piece of art that is meant to be appreciated as such. I hope RM was able to get some kind of catharsis out of this process. Not sure when this will be released globally in theatres, but I'm excited to watch it.

Okay, so we got summer in the US, autumn in Jeju, and winter in Sapporo. I know they mentioned filming something together in passing sometime last year but I really didn't think it would be through so many seasons and locations. 9 episodes spread across 5 weeks. I AM SURE, I AM REALLY SURE (that I will be re-subscribing to Disney+ just to watch this).

I love that J-Hope still has the passion to continue learning his craft even though he's already such a celebrated artist. I can't wait to watch this docu series. Timing is perfect, too — it starts right when I get home from Asia!

Jungkook (feat. Usher) — "Standing Next to You (Usher Remix)" Official Performance Video Teaser

This remix has been in my regular rotation just over a week and I still think it's one of the best collaborations anyone in BTS — including the group as a whole — has done. I haven't followed Usher's career outside of the '90s and early 2000s, but I know this performance video is going to prove why Usher's been the King of R&B for the last 25 years and why he chose to collaborate with Jungkook (and vice versa).

(Also, I know that they decided to release this video after they all enlisted to distract us from the fact that we won't see them for a long time but, for the record, I'm still fucking sad.)

BTS Monuments: Beyond the Star Special Trailer

"Things just changed so quickly. One after another: our seats on the plane changed, we got one or two more bodyguards, our concert venues got bigger, we were treated differently. Gradually, the situation around us changed completely. It was so hectic. Really visible changes happened so quickly."

It was so crazy watching this happen in real time, too. How their popularity grew exponentially. How they broke so many records and then had no one else's to break but their own. No one could've predicted it. I can't wait to watch this doc. (On that note, just how much goddamn footage did they keep in the archives? I can't even imagine how many cameras followed them around everywhere they went. Not sure how anyone could actually get used to it.)

This was an unexpected but extremely pleasant surprise. It did seem like FACE didn't get a lot of behind-the-scenes footage like some of the other members' projects, so now we know why. Can't wait to watch it!
