Montréal: Day 1, Murale

on
Wednesday, January 5, 2011
While Vito, Benton, and Mohammed spent the afternoon hiking, Shawn and I decided to walk around and explore downtown instead. We took the métro around and explored Place Ville-Marie, Le Centre Eaton, and Place Montréal Trust, all of which are connected together underground. I saw a Murale, so I figured I'd just stock up on my skincare since I'm running out of everything.

I also snatched up two bottles of La Compagnie de Provence's Lait Corporel Extra Pur in Pamplemousse (grapefruit) and Verveine (verbena) for 70% off from their Boxing Week sales, so they were both $11.40 down from $38, as well as a bottle of Molton Brown's Shining Starbloom Hair Condition & Detangle for $27 from $39. They were having a promotion where you receive 15,000 Optimum points with every $50 purchase, so I also redeemed my points ($30 worth) on a new tube of Lancôme Hypnôse Mascara. I thought it was a pretty productive outing. (And kudos to Shawn for being so patient with me as I looked through hundreds of cosmetics products. Best boyfriend, ever.)

I was also contemplating buying a new eyeshadow palette from Inglot, but I decided against it because, really? I have hundreds of eyeshadows at home already, including two from Inglot that I picked up in New York a few months ago. Yeah, I'm out of control.
