It was Shawn's birthday today, and aside from getting him the Star Wars: The Complete Saga boxset on Blu-ray and pre-ordering The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword for him (my boyfriend may be a little bit of a nerd), I took him out for dinner. And all he wanted was to eat steak at The Keg, so who was I to argue?

Birthday Billy Miner Pie!
We were so, so, so full after our meals, but Billy Miner Pie is so, so, so good (mocha ice cream on a Oreo cookie base, topped with toasted almonds and drizzled with caramel and chocolate) that we couldn't not finish it. It's now five hours later, and I am still stuffed. But it was totally worth it.
