I finally decided to wear one of the shades from my September Julep Maven box. It's a new shade for this fall called Emilie, and it's a rich medium-dark forest green with a teal edge in a cream finish. This polish fits perfectly into the jewel tone trend this fall. I didn't think that this colour was that unique or interesting (I liked it, but I wouldn't go out of my way to find it), but I've gotten tons of compliments on this shade in the past couple days. The formula in Julep's nail polishes are phenomenal, and reminiscent of Butter London's better shades: smooth, even, not too watery, not too goopy, and completely opaque in one coat. They dry pretty fast, too! Definitely recommend.

HOLY SHIT!
ReplyDeleteLOVE it!
If you're interested, I have a 20% off code for Julep... ;)
ReplyDeleteAww thanks, Denise!
ReplyDeleteI'll think about it. I'm kind of on a makeup diet so I can save up for my upcoming trip. But I'll let you know when I break down and give in ;-)
Ooh, I like it! It looks like such a pretty shade for fall.
ReplyDeleteSydney, did you get a personalized discount code for Julep as well? I wonder if it's only a one-time use or for the entirety of our Julep Maven membership...?
ReplyDeleteI think this might be a unique green. I'm picky about green tones on nails but this looks great! Gaah, so tempted!
ReplyDeleteHey, Liz -- I'm a total sucker for green and blue polishes, so I might be a little biased, but... TOTALLY WORTH GETTING. Cheaper than Butter London, but just as good. Seriously.
