Mary and I went for dinner at Sushi Kiku tonight! We decided to get the all-you-can-eat, 'cause it's always more worth it than ordering à la carte. Here is a sampling of what we devoured (in less than 30 minutes!), a.k.a. food porn:
Salmon and white tuna sashimi

Mary's favourite: Salmon and avocado rolls
Sushi Kiku Roll: Eel, avocado, crab, bonito flakes, and tobiko
Snow Roll: Salmon, tempura crumbs, avocado, rice paper, and spicy sauce

Yup, we were rolling out of there, we were so full. All in all, a really great place for sushi (and apparently, one that Mary frequents a lot, 'cause the waiters were all, "Oh, it's you! Take-out today? Your usual?"). No complaints at all about the food (fresh, good portions, clean presentation) or the service (polite and efficient) or the ambiance (sleek, clean, and cozy). And I think the food came out about one minute after we ordered it. It was, like, freakishly fast (e.g. awesome). I will definitely go back there, but with an even bigger appetite, 'cause like, we didn't even make a dent in any of the cooked or hot items. To be fair, we were mostly just like, "Sashimi!" and ordered about 40 pieces of salmon... But, still, I'm sure some of their other non-sushi/maki/sashimi items are good, right? Will need to go back to "investigate."

LOL! You totally just had this look on your face, the "I cannot eat any more sashimi, or I will barf all over the table" face. It's okay, practice for next time, when WE WILL EAT 50 PIECES.
