Sunday Video Love: Scream My Name (Live)

This is the video I took of Tove Lo performing "Scream My Name" at Sound Academy on October 13, 2015. This song was her contribution to The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 soundtrack, and is probably my favourite Tove Lo song. I wasn't expecting her to perform it that night (just like CHVRCHES didn't perform "Dead Air," which is from the same soundtrack, when I went to see them earlier this month), which made it doubly exciting for me to hear it live. I love a lot of the songs off her record, but this song — haunting, moody, poetic — is so completely different from her usual style that it really shows how multi-faceted and talented she really is. And I really have to reiterate: this girl just slays it live.
