This week's Monday Poll:
  1. Would you rather wear a ballgown or a tuxedo? Tuxedo. While I can appreciate pretty, extravagant ballgowns, it's not my personal aesthetic. I actually have a black tuxedo-inspired jacket from Aritzia that I bought last year, and I wear it all the time with my tuxedo-inspired leggings from Zara. I usually pair them with a flowy silk top and booties for work.

  2. What's the best way you know to start and keep a good habit? Reward system. Bribes from my parents totally worked on me as a kid (they'd give me $2 every time I got 90% or higher on a quiz, test, assignment, or exam), and bribing myself totally works now.

  3. How well do you twerk? I've never really tried because I've never had a use for it, but I assume not well. It requires too much squatting and I don't appreciate the burn in my thighs.

  4. What was the last live play/concert/show you went to? Paramore, last October at Massey Hall.

  5. A makeup item you loved that was sadly discontinued? The original MAC Prep + Prime Face Protect SPF 50. It was my holy grail foundation primer for years, and was honestly the only MAC primer I ever loved. Despite having the same consistency as a sunscreen or cream moisturizer, it was silicone-free, kept me matte for ages, kept my makeup on for ages, and also gave me sun protection. It was phenomenal for someone with combo/oily skin. But all products with SPF in Canada had to be re-formulated a few years ago due to new health regulations, so the current version of Face Protect SPF 50, despite being more lightweight, leaves a greasy feel, residue, and finish on my skin. No, thanks.
