Makeup and Beauty Blog: Monday Poll, Vol. 532

This week's Monday Poll:

1. A drugstore beauty product you swear by? Dove Body Wash. I've been using it on and off since I was a kid, and though I've tried a ton of other body washes out there, I always come back to this one because it's gentle and doesn't leave my skin feeling dry (as someone who is allergic to a ton of detergents and is eczema-prone, Dove's formula has always been reliable). My go-to scent is the Cucumber & Green Tea, but I just bought the new Pear & Aloe Vera one (it was on sale for $2.99 at Shoppers) and it's the perfect summer-time scent that's light and fresh and fruity.
   
   
2. When did you start shaving your legs? I think Grade 7, shortly after I turned 12. Just hit puberty, had to wear shorts for gym class, and got super self-conscious about leg hair because all the other girls in my class already started shaving their legs. I remember I had to ask my mom how to do it.
   
   
3. Last beauty product you recommended to someone in person? MAC Mineralize Blush in Warm Soul. It's a flattering warm peachy beige with a soft gold pearl and is the perfect everyday blush for light to medium skintones. Gives cheeks just enough colour and glow. I use it almost everyday.
   
   
4. Last time you washed your makeup brushes? Last week. I hadn't washed my brushes in like, two months (gross, I know) so I had to wash over 100 in one go. So tedious.
   
   
5. Something you have to do today? Catch up on sleep. It's my day off.
