So, long story short, I was watching this video featuring Jung Joon-young from Korean Englishman (a YouTube channel that I love), which led me to watching 2 Days & 1 Night (a popular variety show in Korea) of which Jung Joon-young is a member, which led me to looking into Jung Joon-young's band, Drug Restaurant. And I was surprised at how much I loved their music. It's reminiscent of early 2000s post-punk revival rock like Muse, The Strokes, Kaiser Chiefs, Interpol, and Arctic Monkeys — something I totally wasn't expecting, and I was getting major nostalgia. I guess with the popularity of K-pop, people are sleeping on K-rock, but damn, there's some real gems out there.
