Saw this butterfly while I was outside having a smoke at work today. At first, I thought it was fake because how often does a butterfly just chill on the ground? And such a massive one, at that? Plus, it had its wings clipped, so I thought it was maybe some sort of decor piece that fell off and was thrown out in the garbage. BUT THEN I SAW IT TWITCH ITS ANTENNAE. SEVERAL TIMES. And realized it was real and just rendered useless because its wings were broken. And then I got sad. So yeah, that's the kind of Friday it is.
