Well, SBS uploaded part of the interview (apparently, the full interview is 44 minutes, so we're missing 28 minutes) and it now has subtitles, but they're pretty terrible so you kinda have to read between the lines. Still, what other music artist is so relevant to their country that they're being invited to appear on the national evening news? Addendum, 07/28/21: Okay, SBS uploaded the full 44-minute interview! And they got a WAY BETTER translator, so the English subtitles actually make sense and have a natural flow! (It's fully subbed in 14 languages, so I can only say this for English.) I didn't realize how much more in-depth this interview actually was. The news anchor asked some great questions, too.
Anchor: "Suga, there are lyrics like this in 'Permission to Dance,' 'When we fall, we know how to land.' In English, it means even if you fall, you know how to land, so it's okay. What kind of meaning and comfort does the lyrics contain?"
Yoongi: "I've said several times before that I'm afraid of falling, but not of landing. And the difference between falling and landing is that landing means that you can take off again. So no matter how desperate the situation is, if we choose to land instead of fall, choose not to give up and just land, we'll be ready to fly again."
