Sunday night dinner kit from Hello Fresh: Saucy beef ragout with olive tapenade. It occurred to me as I was cooking this that I have never had pasta with olives in it before and IT IS DELICIOUS. I guess olives have a relatively polarizing flavour, one that I used to dislike but now have come to love, but it works so well with the beefy tomato sauce. (Not sure why I was surprised since I eat olives on pizza. Why don't I ever think of putting it in pasta?) I mean, don't get me wrong, the pasta is good without the olive tapenade as well (it's basically spaghetti Bolognese but with rigatoni), but the olives give it a nice, tart kick, which I'm kind of obsessed with. This recipe was simple and easy, too. Will definitely be making it again.
