I obviously couldn't be there in person, but I'm so glad I got to watch this on livestream. This will forever mark the day BTS was officially reunited in public after their three-year hiatus — so fitting that it was also on the day of their 12th anniversary. God, I can't wait to see the great things they will do together again.

Jungkook, looking around at all the snacks: "There's a lot of stuff we can take home after the shoot!"

Jin: "Jungkook's definitely going to take some stuff home."

RM: "Hey, Jungkook!"

Jungkook: "Yeah?"

On that note, I still can't believe they were gatekeeping this from us for THREE YEARS. THREE YEARS!!! (I guess it was worth it, though; the Permission to Dance: On Stage — Live album sounds so good and makes me feel nostalgic for the Las Vegas show I went to in 2022. The BigHit/HYBE planning department is really something else.)

The amount of hard work, planning, practice, dedication, endurance, creativity, and stamina — not just from J-Hope, but also the dancers and staff — that went into this tour is just remarkable. I am so glad that I got to witness a part of it in person. 

BTS EPISODE: Jin's Coldplay Concert Guest Appearance Shoot Sketch

FINALLY!!! I've seen fan videos of this concert all over my social media, but I have been waiting for official behind-the-scenes footage of Jin's guest appearance at Coldplay's concerts in Korea and it's everything I hoped for. You know, if you told me even five years ago that BTS and Coldplay would have a collaboration, I would never have believed you. BUT IT'S BECOME THE MOST WHOLESOME MUSICIAN FRIENDSHIP I HAVE EVER SEEN AND I AM LIVING FOR IT.

BTS EPISODE: J-Hope Hope on the Stage Tour in North America

I am so glad to have been able to witness J-Hope perform live in person. My friend Iris and I went to the first show on the tour in Brooklyn, and to have been able to be a part of the audience to see "Mona Lisa" performed for the first time was an absolute honour. J-Hope is a phenomenal performer — his energy, live vocals, charisma, choreography, and stage presence are just incredible. I know how much the BTS members practice for anything that they have to do, especially for live performances, but it really, really pays off.

"All the Bangtan parents came yesterday. They were apparently very surprised. I feel so glad that they enjoyed it. From the parents' perspective, every member is their kid. Imagine how proud they must feel knowing how tough this is, more than anyone else. They've watched everything from the sidelines as family. All the parents showed up yesterday, not a single one missing. I felt so grateful."

Hope on the Stage was planned impeccably. The set list, the outfits, the choreography, the live band, the back-up dancers and, most importantly, J-Hope's energy, are all incredible. The show I went to on this tour was so vivid and memorable for me, and I am just so, so glad I was able to get tickets, let alone such amazing seats. (Not to mention that I was lucky enough to attend Day 1 of the Brooklyn shows, where he premiered "MONA LISA" — a genuinely amazing surprise that even Seoul attendees didn't get to see live.) I feel so proud of every single member of BTS, and I'm not even their parent.

J-Hope's performance at Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes was, in my opinion, flawless. I can't wait to see him on tour next month in NYC. He is gonna fucking kill it. 18 MORE DAYS!!!

BTS EPISODE: Jin at the Paris 2024 Olympics as the Torchbearer

He said, "I'm not an athlete or someone representing my country," but as a member of BTS, who has not only received an Order of Cultural Merit from the President of South Korea but was also an official presidential envoy for South Korea at the UN General Assembly, Jin will always be someone representing his country. And that — among many other reasons — is why there were more ARMY there cheering him on as a torchbearer than some actual Olympians.

I quite literally started tearing up the moment I saw Jin entering the stage on that bicycle during the livestream. I can't describe the kind of odd relief that I felt upon seeing him after 18 months out of the spotlight. I know he kept mentioning how nervous he was, but I really can't imagine how overwhelmed Jin must've been on this day — being discharged from the military the day before and then having to record a second verse to "Super Tuna" and learn new choreographies before going straight to rehearsals for FESTA, all before meeting and singing in front of millions of ARMY — with no other members there to take off the pressure. He did so, so well, like he never left. It's finally the Jin era and I can't wait to see him shine.

BTS EPISODE: SUGA | Agust D D-DAY Tour The Final

Well, good thing my SUGA | Agust D Tour D-DAY The Original set arrived last night because I am still waiting to see Jungkook and Jimin's performances in full. (I had only bought the livestream for Day 3 of the Final, and they performed on Day 1 and 2.) Between the live viewing, the paid livestreams, and the movie, I've watched Yoongi perform during this tour at least 5 times now and I STILL have regrets of not going to see him live. 

(You might be wondering how the hell I missed out on this tour since I've seen BTS on every single tour since the Love Yourself Tour in 2018. Both my friend Iris and I were on the waiting list for the pre-sale code, but when they finally released more tickets weeks later and I actually got a code, I had just came back from Japan. With the cost of the concert ticket — for which the best seats available were in the 200 sections — plus hotel and flight, I quite literally could not afford to go. BUT, I will not let myself be in that position again. I have set up a separate BTS concert fund. Because I am HELL-BENT on seeing them on their reunion tour.)

GOD, I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE MOVIE THIS SATURDAY. 

(On that note, I've been back home for a week now and just getting back into the swing of things. Spent the first three days back unpacking, cleaning, doing way too much laundry, and getting over jet lag. Going back to work has been especially exhausting — I already need another vacation — so this movie will feel particularly rewarding to watch in theatres.)

I know I've said this already, but I'm so, so glad he got the opportunity to re-release Jack in the Box in a proper physical format. What an amazing gift from and for Hobi. I can't wait to receive my copy next week.

BTS EPISODE: Jungkook — "Seven (feat. Latto)" MV Shoot Sketch

Okay, despite the lyrical content of this song, this is still the funniest, most extra MV I've ever seen. I've said this already, but I love that they casted Han So-hee as Jungkook's female counterpart. She's such a beloved, talented actress that she gets way more support from ARMY and the GP (read: way less hate and death threats because some ARMY are unnecessarily possessive) than some unknown. Anyway, Kookie, you've worked hard!

BTS EPISODE: Jimin — FACE Music Show Promotions Sketch

This made me feel kinda wistful because I was actually in Seoul when Jimin was doing these promotions for FACE. This album will always serve as the soundtrack to my trip to Korea and hold a special place in my heart.

BTS EPISODE: Agust D — "Amygdala" MV & Jacket Shoot Sketch

"There's going to be a lot of flashbacks of different sides of me in the past… Because the intention behind this song is so clear, it might be a bit uncomfortable to see this through a video. But just know it's the period of time where I overcame my trauma."

"The two egos since 'Daechwita' — me of the present and me from the past — that's what I want to express."

"Every scar is made by yourself. Everything that happens depends on how you take it. Depending on how you accept it, scars can be scars or not. That's what I tried to capture here. I think through 'Amygdala,' you'll understand why the scars in 'Daechwita' appeared."

Everything about D-DAY is pure artistic genius.

"I'm trying to portray liberation from what's prohibited."

I don't know why Yoongi thinks he can't act, because this might be some of the best acting in an MV I've ever seen. And I know I shouldn't condone smoking, but as a smoker myself, I find him EXTREMELY FUCKING ATTRACTIVE in the MV. (To be quite honest, Yoongi has been bias-wrecking me quite a bit recently.)
