Wynnie, Edward, and Shawn took me to Baton Rouge for a sort of pre-birthday dinner. I ordered the steak frites with sweet potato fries from their fall menu and it was all kinds of phenomenal. And then they gave me a slice of cake that tasted sort of like a Ferrero Rocher chocolate, but in cake form. So, obviously, it was awesome. Conclusion: I had a fantastically good time.
