For me, there's nothing better than a steaming bowl of delicious beefy pho on a cold winter day.

    1. Haha, sorry, Stacey! :P Although... pho at midnight is the best...

I definitely eat a lot more pho in the winter than in the summer. I don't think you experience -10C weather, but pho is extra delicious when it's cold outside, lol. It makes me feel bloated in the summer when it's like, 30C. :(

    1. "pho at midnight is THE BEST!" -- TOTALLY. I would know, 'cause that's when I went. Damn, so tasty. I should've gotten spring rolls, too...

Haha, if it's for a full meal, I get a large... but I get a small for the midnight snack. ;)

And, OMG, BBQ chicken with fried egg AND steamed egg on top of "broken" rice. *Droolllsssss*

    3. You know, I've never had those shrimp rolls... I really should expand my pho-eating horizons...

... YOU HAD ME AT FRIED EGG.

OH GOD I AM SO HUNGRY. :(

  3. What's the second one?!! Looks delicious! I used to be a diehard classic pho fan but now I always get the curry one at Xue La (in the plaza at Kenny & Hwy 7) but that looks sooooo good.

    1. It's the "Pho Special" at Pho 88, lol. I think it's rare beef, tendon, tripe... I always get the coconut curry one (in the third pic), 'cause it's ridiculously good. OH MAN. Just thinking about it makes me drool! I rarely go to that plaza at Kennedy and 7 now 'cause that parking lot is death. Same reason I avoid Pacific Mall, Metro Square, the plaza at Warden and Steeles... And that's why I only go to Pho 88 (the one at Bamburgh) around midnight, lol!

  4. Coconut curry? Oh man..... Curry already sounds good but coconut curry? I die!!!

Yeah, Pac Mall I only go to once in a blue moon now. I never really come out of there with any purchases anyway. I love going to Keung's and Xue La at Kennedy & 7 but I hate the exit/entrance into the plaza. Ugh. Why does it feel like there are so many Asian places in Markham and still not enough space for all of us?!

    1. Lindsay, you need to get on coconut curry. It's insane. OH GOD.

And it's true, it's like there's too many Asians moving into Markham and they're just not developing Asian plazas fast enough. Um, the T&T Supermarket that just opened at Woodbine & 16th? I refuse to go to that plaza now, and it wasn't even that Asian to begin with.
