After a couple of really rough weeks, this song is just what I needed to remind myself to keep my head up.

Also, Beth Ditto's make-up is always fierce.

      I broke up with Shawn a couple weeks ago which was hard, and then my grandpa passed away last week and we were busy with funeral arrangements and a lot of family coming into the city... It was tough.

      Can't wait to see you, too! I'm wondering if I should drive down or if I should TTC down...

      Closest subway station is Bay (Belair St. exit) and would take a good 30-40 minutes from Finch.

      Thanks, Liz, means a lot. I just didn't want to mention anything on a public online forum or anything (like Twitter or Facebook or even here) 'cause I felt it was... too personal? I don't know. Have to keep some things to myself, you know? But, like the song says, I'm heading toward a new state of mind. :)

      I'm seeing if I can maybe switch shifts with one of the other make-up artists on Saturday so I can get that day off instead of Friday... It would be such a rush for me to end work at 5:30 and try to get down there for 6:30, so it would be easiest if I had the day off, lol. (YES I WOULD TAKE THE DAY OFF JUST TO EAT.) I would probably drive to Fairview and take the subway from there...

      Yeah, I think most people feel that way. And of course you don't have to talk about it if you don't want to, but also know that I'm going to give you a BIG HUG and you can talk and vent and do as you feel on Saturday.

      If it's a lot of trouble, don't worry about being 30 mins late or so. I'll hold the spot and drink a lot of coffee and play some Fruit Ninja, lol.

      Okay, so I tried and failed to get Saturday off, which means I will probably be 30 minutes late. Hopefully Mary will be there to accompany you, and they won't kick you guys out for being there for too long or whatever. :P Or maybe drink cocktails or something until I get there. The restaurant staff won't say anything to you if you're drinking alcohol 'cause it's just more money for them! :P

      Fruit Ninja is KEY to killing time. So is Angry Birds. The new Angry Birds Space is definitely a game-changer...
