This week's Friday Five:
- What public behaviour is not a crime but should be? Letting your children run rampant in public places and do whatever the fuck they want. Control your goddamn children. Also, treating salespeople or retail people in general like servants or like they're beneath you. You are not better than them.
- What food item doesn't have a recommended daily allowance but should?Bacon? Of course, if it had a recommended daily allowance, it would be like, "One eighth of a strip."
- What's not a word but should be? "Scarypants."
- What day of the year is not a holiday but should be?Sandwich Day.
- What behaviour is not generally a professional expectation but should be? Having integrity.
I will be going on a mini-trip to Montreal this weekend, so I'll see y'all when I get back.
OMG I'm so with you on the first one. It's so fucking annoying!! And some parents act like people find their rabid kids entertaining or even cute. Oh, I'm sorry, THEY'RE NOT ENTERTAINING AND THEY'RE ANYTHING BUT CUTE AND RIGHT NOW I DON'T THINK THEY'RE HILARIOUS OR ENDEARING -- I JUST WANT TO KICK THEM!
ReplyDeleteI was at Sephora the other Sunday and this little boy in a stroller (which was parked in the middle of the fucking aisle) started to grab at the hem of my dress. Mom did nothing! I had to swat the kid's hands away. I was like, fuck, I don't want your perverted kid's tiny hands all over my legs!
And, oh, I'm not really violent.
STROLLERS IN THE SUBWAY DURING RUSH HOUR. That's what hell looks like!
DeleteI'm anxiously awaiting the food porn. Don't you let me down, Denise!
I pretty much hate strollers anywhere. And stroller moms. They're the worst. The parents are always to blame, really...
DeleteLol, I didn't eat as much as I thought we would. I think we only really had two full meals in Montreal. :P But there is some food porn, don't you worry!
