Our fam jam feasting ended with an epic dim sum brunch at Providential 9:
Steamed scallop, prawn, and veggie dumplings
Steamed king prawn har gow
Steamed wild mushroom and snow pea leaf dumplings
Steamed siu mai with foie gras
Beef tendon and tofu puffs in satay sauce
Steamed ginger chicken buns
Steamed chicken feet in abalone sauce with wood ear mushrooms
Steamed pork and shrimp spring roll cheung fun
Pan-fried prawn and leek dumplings
Deep-fried taro and mushroom dumplings
Baked BBQ pork buns
It was our first time trying this restaurant, and while I would say Chef 88 Elite is still my all-time fave for dim sum in terms of quality, Providential 9 comes in at a close second. They definitely win for having the most unique and decadent variety of dim sum (um, foie gras on siu mai?), which made for one of the most deliciously interesting dim sum brunches we've ever had.
