I bought a few shades from the Miss Universe collection about a month ago (one of which I've already shown), and while it's meant to be a Fall collection, I just couldn't resist wearing this one now, 'cause it's just so pretty. It's called It's My Year, and it's a deep plum with gold and red micro-shimmer. There's so much micro-shimmer, in fact, that it almost looks duochrome, shining plum in one light and bronze/gold in another. I can't think of another shade that's very similar to this one, but it's kind of like if you mixed MAC's Trax and Star Violet eyeshadows together... in nail polish form. Regardless, it's a pretty nifty shade. I will definitely wear this again when Fall rolls around.
Haha, I love your MAC eyeshadow description of the colour! I spotted this in person the other day and didn't pick it up mostly because I thought it was a little overpriced at that particular store. It was such a pretty colour in the bottle though - never seen anything quite like it. Think I'll try and find it online now!
ReplyDeleteHaha, yeah, I find if I can't describe a nail polish colour with another shade of nail polish, I'll resort to eyeshadows, especially MAC 'cause they've made pretty much every shade, lol.
